Delivery To Site
Winstone Wallboards operates a deliver to site service for the greater Auckland area. For full information download the Auckland GIB® Delivery To Site (DTS) Service Guide below or contact 0800 100 442.
The delivery to site service specialises in plasterboard placement on site, a variety of vehicles to suit delivery options and extra labour is available on request. We also offer a text service in addition to our current communication channels.
Standard Delivery
- Driver and One Labourer
- Flat Deck Truck
- Maximum of 20 paces walk from vehicle to nearest point of covered placement area
- GIB® plasterboard placed in ground floor area or nearest point of cover
- One Driver
- No additional labour
- Flatdeck truck
- Hiab can lift to a maximum of 15m
- Vertical or horizontal lift
- GIB® plasterboard mechanically off loaded to the nearest access
- Maximum of 2 hours on site, thereafter hourly rate applies.
- For deliveries with height and width access constraints
- Driver and One Labourer
Specialist Delivery
- Two extra labourers required per level over and above the standard delivery team or Hiab driver
- Is required when GIB® plasterboard is required to be placed up stairs, or to be carried more than 20 paces
- Minimum labour charge of 3 hours for 2 men applies depot to depot
- Driver and one labourer
- 4 x 4 flat deck truck
- Maximum of 20 paces walk from vehicle to nearest point of covered placement area
- GIB® plasterboard placed in ground floor area or nearest point of cover
- Applies when there is no seal or driveway access to the site
- Also applies when access to site has steep gradient
- One Driver
- No additional labour
- Flat deck truck
- Hiab can lift up to 22mm
- Vertical or horizontal lift
- GIB® plasterboard mechanically off loaded to the nearest access
- Maximum of 2 hours on site, thereafter hourly rate applies
- Extra labourers position the board in house from the end of the crane lift
- Minimum labour charge of 3 hours for 2 men applies depot to depot
- Required when GIB® plasterboard is required to be placed up stairs from a Hiab and to be carried greater than 20 paces
- Driver
- Flat Deck Truck and Trailer
- Required when a crane is operating on site
- GIB® plasterboard mechanically off loaded to the nearest access
- Maximum of 2 hours on site, thereafter hourly rate applies
- Weight limits may apply per lift
- Extra labour available
- Extra charges per kilometre apply outside of Area 1 and 2

2. Clear access to the site
- No scaffold
- No bricks
- No rubbish or rubbish bins blocking access
3. A cleared, accessible and covered area to place the plasterboard
- Area must be under cover, and long enough for flat placement of plasterboard.
4. The correct selection of service type
- We offer an inspection service on request to help you select the correct service type. 48 hours notice is required.
5. Order deadline
- Order, or change an order by 3.00pm with your merchant for standard delivery the next business day.
- 48 hours notice is required for Specialised Delivery.
6. Delivery cancellations
- In the event a delivery cannot be made due to site constraints or wet weather, redelivery charges will apply if not cancelled prior to dispatch.
7. Customer responsibility
- Customer is responsible for preparing a safe, plasterboard ready site and advising other on site contract parties of expected delivery date and time.
