In June we farewelled one of Winstone Wallboards’ longest serving team members, highly respected Area Sales Manager Dale Hammett. After nearly two decades with the organisation, retirement is beckoning for Dale and we thank him for his many years of service and dedication to his work, his customers, and the industry. Dale, we wish you all the very best for your next life chapter - you will be missed!

Dale’s retirement has paved the way for some reshuffling. Clara Sumner has taken on the South Island Team Lead and will be overseeing our South Island market activities (while also continuing with her responsibilities as Partnership Manager).  As always, Richard Scales will continue to look after his customers, but Christchurch and Canterbury surrounding districts will be welcoming a new Area Sales Manager, Barbara Tie. A familiar face to many of you, Barbara has spent the last 18 years at Winstone Wallboards, initially as Despatch Co-ordinator before moving to support the Christchurch sales team and managing the Crusaders sponsorship.

And don’t you worry South of the South – you’ll remain in highly capable hands with Steven Lindsay, your new Area Sales Manager. Steven has spent the last six years as an Area Sales Manager at Winstone Wallboards so he knows his stuff! Highly customer focused, he has a keen interest in construction and a burning passion for architecture and photography, and he can’t wait to support you with all your Winstone Wallboards needs.
