We are pleased to advise that with Auckland’s move to Alert Level 3 on Wednesday 22 September all Winstone Wallboards Delivery Services will have recommenced by Monday 27 September and we will again be supplying GIB® products to all areas of New Zealand.

Two weeks ago Winstone Wallboards was granted an exemption to manufacture and distribute from Auckland during Alert Level 4 to support building activity in areas outside of Auckland.  Consequently, on Monday 13 September Winstone Wallboards resumed distribution services from Auckland to the rest of the North Island and recommenced GIB® Compounds distribution nationwide.  Previously these activities had not been permitted from Auckland under Level 4.

Since 1 September Winstone Wallboards has been providing GIB® product distribution services to the South Island and Wellington. 

Unfortunately the lockdown has created a backlog of orders to pick and deliver, primarily in the North Island, due to the North Island (outside of Auckland) undertaking building activity for almost two weeks utilising stock in the market while Winstone Wallboards was not despatching.

We have good plasterboard stock levels and manufacturing capacity and we are working to maximise picking and delivery output to clear the backlog as quickly as possible. 

We appreciate various Alert Levels and the associated restrictions have been disruptive across the industry.  Thank you for your understanding and support during these challenging times.
